I first ran for office to make a difference and make our community a better place. As your Member of Provincial Parliament, and now your federal Member of Parliament, we have accomplished great things together. For instance, we created a university, expanded the Durham College Skills Centre, we are building the Abilities Centre Durham, and recently, we provided General Motors with a loan in order to keep many people working in Durham Region.

While we can be proud of our progress, there is still much left to do. I am seeking re-election to build upon our great record of achievement.

I hope I can count on your vote on May 2. It will be a privilege to continue working on your behalf in Ottawa.
